People who blog full-time will tell you that it is not always an easy way to make a buck. Blogging successfully involves passion, creativity, and time. Even famous writers such as Tom Clancy probably do not write every day. Bloggers must. If you have decent traffic, you may already be making money off of your blog; or perhaps not. At any rate, if you do wish to start making money, you can sell, or “flip” your blog, and still have some creative input into it – and let someone else (who is probably better at it) worry about all the things that you DON’T like about blogging, so that you concentrate on writing.

Established blogs can often be sold for about 1-2 years of residual income. In other words, you can monetize your blog during this time without actually blogging – or scrapping all of your hard work. Quite often, the new blog purchaser is not necessarily interested in changing the core concept of your blog – although due to different interpretations variations on your theme]. However, the heart of your blog will {likely|normally|usually|almost always} remain intact. But what if you actually ENJOY the creative part? Well, investors will often let you contribute (while sharing the increased revenues!) In fact, they are usually inclined to keep you, simply because they don’t want to take a risk on new writers, be faced with buying articles (which lowers their bottom line, or least of all, (the horrors!) – write it on their own.

And think about this: don’t you get tired of the non-creative tasks, like marketing?. Instead of endlessly trying to find ways to advertise without breaking the bank, it may pay off in the long run to seek out a buyer who is willing to ”play ball” monetarily and take over these responsibilities.

To maximize your income, it may be in your best interest to prepare your blog for sale (use the exit strategy!) Potential buyers often look for blogs that consist of long posts with a lot of SEO type keywords, and still have a clearly-defined focus. If you have a niche blog, even better. Knowledge of your market can ramp up the sales expectations – as well as any product-driven monetizing. If you are currently bringing in income from selling ebooks, sales negotiation is clearly in your court.

If you want to sell immediately, don’t stress yourself out about the remodeling. There are plenty of investors willing to look at a fixer-upper for the right price. The most important thing is to do your research. Find out what blogs similar to yours are currently going for. Be quick to reply to inquiries from potential investors and make sure that you are highly available via email or social networking. Impress them with your statistical knowledge of your site. Tell your investor what you wanted to do but didn’t have time for – ideas to improve the site and drive traffic will help them to decide on moving forward.

In conclusion, the easiest way to monetize your blog is to let someone else(who has the financial means and expertise) take over any tasks you’d rather not spend your time on – such as web design, advertising, and marketing.

Some Good Blogging Advise

When I decided to start a blog last year, I didn’t really think that it would be much of a big deal. I knew many casual bloggers out there, and none seem to be too serious about it. They defintely did not get any blogging advice. They just wrote down what they wanted to, whether it was relationship blogs, marketing and advertising reports, or just personal information about their day-to-day lives. Some are professional bloggers themselve and some are of other jobs. All of them, however, seemed to take a pretty laid-back approach to putting their columns together.

In retrospect I wish that I had received some good blogging advice before I started off. Starting a blog is not as easy as I had thought. Firstly, you need to deal the issues of layout. One of the hard facts about Internet blogging is that people are not going to read your blog unless you have something intersting to tell the reader. A webpage that looks completely dull and has bad layout is going to make eyes glaze over no matter what you have to say.

Another area that I could alot of advises are on getting good traffics. My blog and my business go hand in hand together. I was sort of combining multiple features into it. On the one hand, I wanted a blog that I could use as a semi public journal. I could use it to inform my friends about what I was up to in my life. However, I do want people to know my business and what I offer. I run a business out of my home, and there’s a lot of overlap between my professional and personal life. Good blogging advice would have helped me to create a webpage that was both informative for my clients, and also interesting for my readers, and one that will receive high quality number of hits.

Starting a small business is easy. Great home income opportunity for everyone.Great source of Part Time Income even for the amateur.

Creative Writing and How to Make Money

A great way to start profiting from your creative writing is to sign up for a blogging program, create a blog, and post regular content.  A regular basis means updating you blog in a consistent manner of at least twice a week. Remember, if you do not update your article regularly, it will not get the visits or readers needed to profit.

After you have Constructed your Blog

Once you have posted an adequate amount of articles on your blog (more than 10 entries), you can focus on connecting to businesses, online and off, that specialize in connecting professional bloggers to businesses that wish to pay for reviews of their products or services. These businesses may also want you to have their links embedded on your website or on certain blog posts.

My 4 Creative Writing Tips

In this article, I have listed my top 4 tips to implement when starting a money-making blog by crafting a profitable online creative writing business:

1. What are you Interested in Most?

Blogging doesn’t have to be a full-time gig, but once businesses begin to invest in your blog, you must deliver. Constant readership means constant content uploads. You should have an idea of what you are most passionate about. What magazines do you read most often? What excites you most about your current career or job? Once you realize your passion, your drive, and excitement for a particular subject, you can rest your mind assured that constant content and joyous research will follow.

2. Find Keywords that Pay Consistently

Immediately, after choosing what your desired topic(s) will be, it’s a good idea to search for high paying keywords related to the topic. There are many tools you can use such as Overtures Keyword Selector Tool. Simply perform a Yahoo Search, and then type in profitable online keyword generator, or anything similar to that phrasing. This will produce a list of websites offering the information you want. What is the information you want? The most popular keyword searches from last month.

3. Get Ready … Get set… Write!

Once you have your blog’s niche idea, and your identified keywords, you are set to begin the wonderful creative writing process. A thought that can make the blogging experience easier for you to adjust to is to image that it’s like your personal journal. Remain true to who you are, and try to add as much passion into your posts as you have for the subject itself. Incorporate your chosen keywords throughout the article without overdoing it; conversely, try not to only add your keyword just once or twice. Also, online pinging services can assist in alerting the search engines that you have uploaded new content. Services such as Pingomatic and Pingoat are but two of many other services that helps you alert existing readers, as well as many other search engines, that you have something fresh to offer.

4. Place Ads on your Blog

After you have established some readership, and some could be a mere 5 unique visitors a day, you might consider placing some advertisements on your blog. Adsense is, by far, one of the most popular online publishing goldmines. It’s best to place these ads in areas of your blog or blog posts that will receive clicks from visitors. Choose an ad format that fits the look and feel of your blog in a dynamic way, for example, the 336X280 is a great option to utilize, because it looks like regular links, and not like ads. So remember, the more content you create, the more people will visit your blog, and the more people that visit your blog the more likely they are to click on ads. The more ads your visitors click on, the more money you make, and just think, you can do it simply with creative writing.
