In my previous post, I had mentioned that Twitter works hand in hand with blogs. Hereby, I would like to discuss in details on ways to boost up blog traffic using twitter: -

1. Getting Traffic to Your New Blog Posts

Everytime after you had updated your blog posts, just do one extra move, which is update a short 140 character message regarding your blog post in your Twitter account. This simple move not only will attracts lots of new readers from Twitter to your blog, but also remain current readers to revisit your blog.

2. Built A Close Relationship With Your Readers

Blog provides a platform for bloggers to speak or communicate with visitors on certain topic that bloggers are interested in. Therefore, to maintain a professional looks of the blog and post content, blogger tend to be very careful on the words and phrases that he/she is using. This move will unintentionally create a very ‘formal’ kind of environment. However, if bloggers connect with visitors through Twitter, it becomes a conversation. Bloggers can show more of his/her personality to their followers and communicate with them on different environment, which will build more traffic from time to time.

There are thousands and thousands of bloggers in the internet world. However, you may need to develop certain special persona for visitors to notice or pay attention on what you are going to say. Of course this can be accomplished through your blog, but you can futher enhance your brand by using Twitter.
