What is Private Label Rights and Master Resell Rights?
When you are really involved in the internet business, you might came accross these two technical words, which is Private Label Rights (PLR), and Master Resell Rights (MRR). There some difference between these two terms, which you need to be aware of.
Private Label Rights is a concept of reselling the product that created by others, but you can get the full ownership of the product. This means that you are allow to modify, and change the content of the product to suit your own needs. Commonly seen Private Lable Rights products are articles, reports, ebooks and softwares. This might be a good news for you, if you do not have a product to start with for your internet business. Yet, PLR products are sold through the internet with affortable prices, as the content are shared among many buyers.
However, although Private Label Rights allow the purchaser to modify the content, but there are still some limitations, which differs from creator or product provider. This limitations are being created, to avoid too many PLR resellers selling the same thing, which will decrease the value of the product. Some limitation is as shown: -
* Break it up into blog posts
* Use it as website content
* Bundle it and sell or give away as bonuses
* Use it as marketing articles
* Use it to create ebook or e-product link
Master Resell Rights is also a concept of reselling the product, but the difference is you cannot modify and change the content of the product. The product must be fully original as what you bought. However, you still can sell the product to others, with or without the Master Resell Rights. If you pass the Master Resell Rights to your customer, this means that your customer also have the rights to resell the product. Some of the example of MRR is as shown: -

[YES] Can be packaged as a Bonus Product.
[YES] Can be bundled into a Paid Package
[YES] Can be sold on Auction Sites.
[YES] Can be sold without Resell Rights.
[YES] Can be sold or given away with Master Resell Rights
[NO] Cannot be Retitled, Rewrote or Redited.
[NO] Cannot add your name as the Author
[NO] Cannot be rebranded with your links.
